Meet Zach

Founder of 1609 Paintworks/Motorworks

Born and raised in the Arvada area, Zach has been building and painting custom cars and motorcycles for nearly two decades. After a serious motorcycle accident left him in a wheelchair as a teenager, he poured everything into rebuilding and painting his first project car, an Audi B5 A4 wide-body, in his parents’ garage at just 15 years old. From that moment on, he was hooked.

Zach opened his first shop in Denver and has been grinding ever since, building his reputation through hard work, craftsmanship, and a passion for creating one-of-a-kind machines. With roots in racing bikes and custom motorcycle culture, he eventually found his niche in high-end motorcycle and custom bodywork paint. He brings a level of detail, creativity, and care that big corporate shops simply can’t replicate.

Had some fun bringing this crf110 back to life. Somebody decided to plasti dip it and hacked steering stops and tore up subframe with a 12 bar. Made some new stops beefed up the subframe and modified some magma red looks black in low light pops red b
